Holiday

Hi All.
Sorry I haven't posted for a while.  I've been on holiday to lovely Southwold.  We managed to pick the week where we had fantastic weather.  Hope you like the photos.

Thought you might like to see some of the views from our balcony.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend.

Sandra Meech...

So I spent last Friday and Saturday at the Bramble Patch attending a class with Sandra Meech. I was very pleased to have such a great group of people on both days to work with and I'm pleased with my results from the class.
The first photos I have are examples of what students achieved during the days

Below are examples of the paper collages we all made on the first day.

And these are examples that Sandra brought in for us to look at.

And below is my paper collage of a sea scape.
And the result of the transfer paints and other embellishments I used to produce another seascape.
I won't be posting for a couple of weeks - but I'll be back with lots of photos for you all.
Have fun.

I'm back

Hi. I've been away on holiday for a week. I'll have lots to tell you but I just need to get sorted first. Tomorrow I'm at the village hall sewing. I'm hoping to make the Advent calendar that's been hanging around for a couple of years now.
Hope you're all OK.

A few days away .....

A few days away. Spent the first afternoon on the beech at Brancaster, Norfolk. It was really hot - honest.

Even had a paddle - yes those are my very white legs.
We stayed at the Hoste Arms, Burham Market.

And this is the room we stayed in.

This is DH on the next afternoon at Wells by the Sea. Typical couple if days at the seaside - one days it's hot - the next rather cool and raining. The weather is my excuse for why I have to take so many clothes as you never know what the weather will do.

On the way home we stopped at the Norfolk Lavender fields for lunch . The site is covered with a huge variety of lavender plants - it smelt beautiful.

New Project: plus an update Hello again! Yes it's only been just over a week and here's another blog post.  This might become...
